About Outsight

Outsight was formed as a company in 2004 in Sydney Australia. The initial intention of this company was to provide the most innovative lighting solutions possible to the Film, Television and Content industries worldwide, powered by our long standing and very committed passion for LED Technology.

We believe that everything should work simply, no matter how complex a problem it solves. As an industry pioneer we have provided hundreds of innovative solutions to the film industry since 2004. Our revolutionary rapid design, construction and delivery abilities coupled with exacting quality standards has brought us in close contact with many of the most progressive companies in the content production world.

Our experience includes building the first large scale high power LED installation used in the film industry in 2004 for the production of director George Miller’s “Happy Feet” with 60 fixtures providing 6kW of reliable LED light for motion capture.

More recently we have also designed custom LED lighting equipment for productions such as Gavin Hood / Hugh Jackman’s “Xmen origins- Wolverine” 2009.

Our fast and reliable sales, distribution and support network now covers many countries. In Europe it is looked after by Dedo Weigert Film in Munich, Germany. In Australia distribution is through Lemac Film in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
